Beloved Westchester County Police K-9 Officer Clint Dies

The Westchester County Police Department said goodbye to one of its own this week, as a beloved member of the Canine Unit had to be put down due to an illness and recent medical complications.

The Westchester County Police Department issued an announcement over the weekend, extending their condolences to his partner Officer Christian Gutierrez and his family on K9 Clint’s End of Watch.

A County Police spokesperson said that Clint had to be laid to rest due to his illness and medical complications. Officials from Canine Teams from the MTA PD, NYPD Transit, East Fishkill Police Department and Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office were on hand for the dog’s last ride.
